Most energy drinks contain very high amounts of sugar and caffeine that gives you jitters, the ''buzz and then ''crash''. I think this is very unhealthy for your body, especially if you drink a lot of them.
I found one that I really like. It is healthy to drink, works in 10-15 minutes after I drink it, lasts for several hours, helps me with my exercising and workouts.
I found it at carlshealthhelp.com/energy
I use to sell an energy drink called ''ROCK STAR''
All energy drinks give you a very high dose of caffeine, to give you one heck of a boost,,,Either in the morning, or when your not allowed to sleep, such as work or driving.
i find a good strong cup of coffee will get me up better than anny, try expreso this will beat a energy drinks ass but some energy drinks have other herbs that stimulate u along with the caffen so its like taking a shoot of whisky with a sleeping pill 2 differnt things work together & for the sugar comments sugar dose not stimulate u like that it helps if u r starved & weak but as for it making u hyper thats a myth it will actuly bring u dowen u will crash as fast as it brings u up
The chemicals in energy drinks r stronger than caffeine.
Energy Drinks (in general):
''Energy drinks r beverages that r designed to give the consumer a burst of energy by using a combination of methylxanthines (including caffeine), B vitamins, & exotic herbal ingredients. Energy drinks commonly include caffeine, guarana (extracts from the guarana plant), taurine, various forms of ginseng, maltodextrin, inositol, carnitine, creatine, glucuronolactone & ginkgo biloba. Some contain high levels of sugar, while most brands also offer an artificially sweetened version. The central active ingredient in energy drinks is caffeine, the same stimulant found in coffee or tea, often in the form of guarana or yerba mate. The average 8oz energy drink has about 80mg of caffeine, about the same amount as a weak cup of coffee, with 16oz drinks containing around 150mg, although recent drinks have created a stir by containing as much as 300mg of caffeine.''
Red bull:
''it contains, per 250 ml (8.3 U.S. fl. oz.) serving, about 27 g of sugar (glucose, sucrose), 1000 mg of taurine, 600 mg of glucuronolactone, B-complex vitamins & 80 mg of caffeine. The caffeine in one serving is less than that found in an average cup of coffee (typically 100 mg/250-ml cup) or twice as much as found in a can of Coke (40 mg/330-ml can) -around 80 mg per can.''
Energy drinks, compared with caffeine alone, is a combination of sugars, water, taurine, etc.
Energy drinks also contain caffeine to heighten the alertness of a person for quite a while. Caffeine, as in the case of coffee, is enough to keep you awake for approx. 4 hours without sugar.
Good question, i get the jitters from coffee but not energy drinks. Creepy.
energy drinks have stuff like ginseng guarana and all that good stuff with a crap load of sugar and caffiene but uts a diffrent type of caffienne than in coffee
